2000
Anagold Mining was established in 2000. Our head office is in Ankara and our gold production facility is in the İliç district of Erzincan.
2008
Our mineral exploration work continued in the region between 2000 and 2008.
2008
In 2008, a resettlement project was implemented for the first time in Turkey's mining sector by a private company.
2009
In 2008, an investment decision was made, and in 2009, the construction of the Oxide Ore Processing Facility commenced.
2010
After the construction period, the first gold pour from oxide ore at our mine was carried out on December 22, 2010.
2011
In 2011, the Çöpler Village Resettlement Project was completed, and at the beginning of 2012, life commenced in the new Çöpler Village.
2012
In 2012, construction of the SART (Sulphidization, Acidification, Recycling, and Thickening) Plant began to reduce cyanide consumption and enable its recovery.
2014
In 2014, the construction of the SART Plant was completed.
2016
Our mine, which began operations with the Oxide Processing Facility, commenced construction of the Sulfide Plant in 2016.
2018
With the completion of the construction process in 2018 and the subsequent update of the Workplace Opening and Operation License, the Sulfide Processing Plant was commissioned, and the first gold pour from sulfide ore was achieved in the last quarter of 2018. Ore recovery through the Sulfide Plant marked a first in Turkey’s mining sector and is among a limited number of examples worldwide.
